Mar. 8th, 2003 09:05 pmThis is pretty much rambing
Slept in, missed Smackdown.
All the TV companies decided to show sports that I was interested in so there was major channel flicking. Rugby (Ireland v France) and the F1 qualifying.
Was distracted from both by "The Moon Is Blue" or whatever it's called, the Fritz Lang film that caused a scandal back in 195 whatever. And it's good. What I really liked was how sophisticated it was, I mean nowadays they'd all be f'ing and blinding and there'd be sex, whereas this was innuendo laden. Such a good film.
Plus David Niven was in it being all ammoral and devilishly charming. Which is always good.
Dude Channel 5 are showing a French film. And it isn't porn. It's Francois Truffaut's "Day for Night (La Nuit American)". Which is really good. But it's odd, BBC which is supposed to show foreign films only shows them on the digital channels whereas 5 which is supposed to pander to the lowest common denominator is showing a french film on Friday night. I have stepped into a parallel universe.
To further enhance that impression, I think I just thought that Brock Lesnar was cute. It was the smile when he named Heyman as the cage match opponent.
Have been assaulted by another Benoit bunny.
Am far too interested in the Undertaker and Nathan Jones storyline. Which is good.
Apparently Pamela Anderson organised an anti-fur publicity stunt in Vienna. Now while this is a worthy cause, she might like to try it somewhere where she might have more success, like a furrier's convention for instance. Sorry, grew up there and if the fashionable types ever give up fur, it will be a miracle.
