Chris Rock is a very, very funny man.

Ben Stiller, Drew Barrymore, Adam Sandler aren't.

First thought on seeing Madonna was 'Marlene Dietrich' which is the good sort of connection. Actually of the four of them, I think Madonna's the sexiest but unlike Elizabeth Bathory I have no taste for young flesh.

Christina suits dark hair more IMO.

The whole chorus line thing at the beginning of Beyonce's bit was cool. Okay so I grew up on old fashioned musicals.

Snoop Dog rocks the house. As do Eminem and 50 Cent. However as various people actually pointed out at the awards, Johnny Cash so should have won something. Not even on musical grounds but purely because that was a stonking video in a year of really rather average ones. Whatever happened to the days when videos were good?

Metallica doing the rock mix thing was cool. Especially Seven Nation Army.

Actually on the point of people rocking or otherwise, whoever wrote the lines for the people who were introducing the nominees needs to be fired. They were even more cringe-inducing than usual. The only ones that really worked were Nelly and whoever and Outcast and Iggy Pop. Oh and Snoop as well but that's a given.

Who knew that Hanson were there? What do you mean it was the Olsen twins? (joke)


Just something which amused me. Apparently Snoop Dogg had to go one better than DMX's dimond studded collars for his pitbulls, so he had two girls on leashes with him and they had diamond studded collars. Love that man.
