Fic writing

I am writing something which is going to be the gooshiest, squooshiest, gooiest thing I have ever written. It was going to be that even before recent events, but I am now dead-set on writing fluffy and adorable.

This, unfortunately, means I am writing both a wedding and an engagement scene. This presents a problem, because all my friends's engagement stories are disasters, of varying kinds where the intended does say yes, but yeah, more suitable for comedy than gooey.

Still, I persevere.

(Despite goosh and squoosh, if anyone knows where I might find out about blood donation rules or civil weddings in 1960s United States, I would be obliged.)

Haha, maybe draw inspiration from TNA/Impact? They're surprisingly good at funny but still gooey marriage stories.

Thanks for the link. I shall have to do one gooey bit slightly differently, but I think it will work.

US marriage laws and customs vary a lot by state (as I found trying to research Jewish-Christian marriages) so looking for the particular state is likely to get you much better results.
