Yearly WIP Post

redfiona99In which we once again learn that I have bitten off more than I can chew.
Version one of the modern day AU, late LGBTfest fic - 'He was always in some business meeting or other.'
Version two of the modern day AU, - 'Peter gives up fighting it.' - which is at 19 1/2 k words and still has 2 and a half sections to go. Halp!
Giles/Ethan fic, which is a delayed LGBTfest fic - 'He'd have to hope that Ethan wouldn't return and that the "Be Seeing You" card was just him trying to wind Giles up.' - I'm not sure if it's finished, or if it needs another paragraph just before the end. Update - May actually have been finished.
Yet more unfinished Giles/Ethan fic - 'There was a rasp to Ethan's voice when he spoke again, but he didn't seem to have learnt his lesson because he started mouthing off again.'
Untitled comment_fic, which will be Buffy/Angel eventually - 'Buffy is sooo doomed'.
Untitled Doctor Who fic - 'The Corsair was still in his second body when the Doctor first knew him.'
Doctor And River Summer - 'She could be stark naked (and might well be, one of these days) and they'd treat her every word like strictest gospel.' - stuck
Awesome Ladies Fest fic - 'They're so wonderfully impractical.' - stuck
EleventyandtheMaster - 'He wants to know if it's him, or another regeneration, or if it's this Master or another of him, and whether he's supposed to stop it or help him, or what's going on.' - Stuck
Before the Impossible Planet - 'Which was often because even though Zach did what you were supposed to in the drills, Scooti was new to this, Ben and Ida were incapable of following orders and Dani dithered. It was his natural state.' - Which moves forward at about one line per year.
Delayed Comment_fic - 'As Time Lords, and as children of Gallifrey, he would have thought they would understand better than most that you can't go back, and trying to would only bring more pain for everyone.'
Skip to the End, Lupin+Black fic which I have managed to lose drafts of twice already - 'Godspeed that plan and all, but with the two of them being stuck here without anything to do, it feels like everything is passing them by.'
Come To Poppy - late OPI challenge fic - 'Not for medical treatment, she understands that you don't want a colleague as your doctor, but she'd like to offer them a friendly ear.'
Pictures of You (which hasn't been re-titled yet) - 'Albus had recommended keeping Phineus Nigellus's portrait, as, he'd said, he gave good advice, and served as a corrective to their more Gryffindor tendencies.'

Untitled James Bond fic - 'Occasionally was still too often for field work, but Bond thought he had the answer for that too.' - Whisper it quietly, but this could be finished soon.

Late lgbtfest fic - 'Who the hell has friends called Mad Dog anyway? Other than his Dad.' - I really will need to find my copy of Tomb of the Dragon Emperor because I can't remember which way round two scenes in the film go.
Sherlock Holmes:
Late lgbtfest fic, where I have found the book I need for research and will read it over Christmas - In keeping with Holmes's belief that extraneous information would merely hinder his abilities as a consulting detective, most of the chemical matter that he concerned himself with could be applied to his cases.
Star Trek:
Awesome ladies fest - And it's true, she has many better things to do with her time, especially as she is presently back on Earth for the first time in years, and can therefore indulge in her fondness for ferns.
Thor:
Untitled post-Avengers: Assemble fic - The problem seemed to lie in Loki's head, no medicine on Asgard was able to detect anything physical.
Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy:
Untitled fic - They were nearly caught setting up a radio station in Savoie. - I know where it goes next, but I don't know if it needs something else in the before.
Twelfth Night:
Untitled Twelfth Night fic, yet more late LGBTfest fic - 'Antonio felt so wretched afterward, his sadness coming on quickly after his pleasure's end, that he stayed for a drink or six at the tavern downstairs, so he was miserable, tired and the worse for drink when he returned.'
Yes (Prime) Minister:
Yet more delayed lgbtfest fic - '"Quite correct, Bernard." That was Sir Humphrey.' - I know where I want it to go, but I just don't know how to write it.
Untitled Sherlock fic - 'She finds herself imagining what different implements would sound like against his skin, how they would feel, how it would feel.' - I need to rewatch A Scandal In Belgravia. Which involves finding my DVD of the second season. I shall put that on the to-do list.
Mycroft's Schooldays - 'But this time, Sherlock had done it deliberately.'
Avoidance, post-Reichenbach Fall fic - 'Even if Mycroft had lowered himself to actually apologising properly, John wouldn't have accepted the apology (because Mycroft was too clever to make as stupid a mistake as underestimating Moriarty) but it would have been a start.' - Another one that needs a re-watch.
Awesome Ladies Fest - 'That's the principle she upholds. The government orders it and it will be done.' - Agent Johnstone fic, stuck
Late lgbtfest fic - 'Humans can only be completely serious for so long before something snaps, and it's better to get it out of your system than to hold it all in and ... well see Alex, see Suzie.' - Stuck
Late pornbattle fic - 'However, due to circumstances, and occasionally altered states of mind, he’s less sure of when he came across them, and whether the necessary equipment is in the archive or in his memories alone.' - The problem, as always, is writing Owen.
More delayed lgbtfest fic - 'Not like *that*, well, not really, but not like they would have reacted if she'd been from London and white.'
All These Places I Remember - formerly "Curious Effects of Memory" - "Because I am not wasting another fourteen days of my life next time you have the same stupid idea." - Only needs the ending. Unfortunately features two characters who I am not confident writing.
Swings and Roundabouts - 'That headboard wasn't ever the same after that morning, it creaked every time I sat down on the bed.' - OMG the second section is almost finished. Second out of 6 but still.
ODB and Tara gen fic - 'It's not flirting, it's being friendly, and no-one she hugs ever takes it as being anything else.'
Fic set during the Jamie Noble/Layla El/William Regal love triangle - 'He's gonna win to show Layla how much he loves her, and how much better a man he is than Regal.' - which is stuck
Ghost at the Feast - CM Punk + Raven fic, because I enjoy making life difficult for myself - 'I got me here." Punk shouldn't have replied. He knows it. Replying to Raven only kept him there longer.'
BG James/Billy Gunn fic - 'It wasn’t like it was a hardship.' - which is stuck
All Our Fathers - 'Randy is doing this to be the best.' - Stuck
Opera's birthday fic - "Can you imagine it, you, hidden away at my house, where only I can see you."
CrimsonMorgan2 - 'He's been a fighter in a place with no referees, and he will not lose this.' - Stuck
CrimsonMorgan - 'It was healthy competition, they were going to push each other to excellence.' - you might be noticing a pattern of stuck.

Restraints - Randy/Stacy - 'There was more resistance in her thighs, he doesn't think Vince understands how much work goes into looking like that.'
Candlewax - Randy/Undertaker, don't look at me in that tone of voice - 'He thinks it's mostly Edge's fault.'
Branding - Randy/Kane - 'His opportunity came after that business with the mask.' - where the difficulty is getting to the sex.
Wolverine: Origins fic - 'Someone had cared about that, and it had hurt Remy deeply.'
Shapeshifting fic - 'Instead Angel curled her fingers back in Mystique's hair, and said, "hey, hey, it's not a problem. We're practising, right."' - Stuck on the porn. Which is a problem when it's a (literally) mutant PWP.
Lgbtfest spite fic - 'But she came back, same as they all did, because shitty as it was, it was their place.' - Don't ask, I know one shouldn't write spite fic, but I am, because I am creature of spite.
