My Mum watched England's summer tour of South Africa (cheering for South Africa, of course) and excitedly discussed their scrum half. Because he was so very much her sort of scrum half; short, energetic, shouty. She finished this excitable discussion with "he reminds me of Peter Stringer." This reduces me to a giggle fit. I eventually manage to gasp out "you and Steve Diamond have the same taste in scrum halves." Because guess who Peter Stringer's replacement at Sale was?!

If you ignore the presence of hair and the different accent, they are terrifyingly similar players.
