I should probably start with the Spike news since that's overshadowed everything else. I have to admit I'm a bit bemused by it, because I thought TNA were starting to turn a corner on-screen. Lots of people I enjoy watching up and down the card who were, if not quite home-brewed, then at the very least stolen from non-WWE sources.

But, if nothing else, let this be a lesson. Do not lie to your financial backers.

As I said, the in-ring stuff was solid again this week. The main storylines progressed in solid ways, entertainment was had, future stories were begun. It was, short, good.

There was also the promise of Hardy Boys vs the Wolves next week. I am all over that. It may or may not wind up being a huge spotfest but I will enjoy it immensely.

Other than that the BroManZ continue to be the most fun thing ever. Low-Ki returning to murderise poor DJ Z was both awesome (for it is Low-Ki) and ouchy looking (for it is Low-Ki). Footage here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYRlCtP4URs&list=UUOp8wkVqdrWbFYHjDv946QQ

Gunnar is the most adorable person. His face when Sam Shaw makes a joke is just love. Anderson unfortunately lurks around this storyline being a dick. And I'm not sure if he's supposed to be being a dick (as in heel turn round the corner) or if it's just Anderson being Anderson and me loathing him as usual.

Gunnar and Bram having a crazy off was quite fun, and Sam Shaw leaping to the defence of Gunnar was adorable. Even if I suspect it will lead to further Anderson whinging.

I keep forgetting how good James Storm is as a heel. Because he's not a cool heel, he's not a jerk, he's that guy who you want to say "dude, not cool" to, but you know he'll hit you for it, because he's a bully. And he has infected my beloved Sanada! The segment was pretty cool, after the Great Muta was done murderising Robbie E, and I was literally staring at the screen going "I'm sure that's blasphemous or sacrilegious, and either way, don't do that to the Great Muta", which is one heck of an effect.

Austin Aries was just about making me believe that he might not use option C when MVP came down and opened his mouth. It was a lovely bit of work too.

As I said, there's been a solid run of Impacts so the other news has left me severely confused.
