Revenge, quite sensibly didn't try to beat the Seven Devils sequence from last year's finale.

I'm not even sure where to start.

They've finally made Aiden likable to me just in time to maybe have him killed off by Daniel. Which, in a distinct change to earlier on in the season, I don't want to happen.

I'm not sure I approve of Conrad being entirely all pantomime villain flavoured.

I entirely disapprove, in a completely separate way, to Nolan being in peril. Dear sadists who write the show, we may have to have words. I also want a show where Gabriel Mann does not have to turn puce on a regular occasion. The guy can act and there is a reason why they give him all the crying shots (because he looks like hell when he cries in the good way) but it also means Nolan is in peril.

And it definitely succeeded in terms of it's aim, which means I want season 3 now. If not sooner.

I'm annoyed by them killing off Declan for the simple reason of can they do any more to Jack? I'm still waiting to see it, but argh.

I did, however, adore Burn Gorman's turn on the show and am only sad he was killed because that means he can't come back.

I kind of like Nolan in peril though.

I'm not going to give details but how they do it might also annoy you. Personally I quite like it but it's definitely not the traditional way.

Admittedly I want the spin off show where Charlotte and creepy stalker end up raising the kid together but I think that comes under "for all the wrong reasons".

For work/rl reasons I missed most of the middle of the season. I literally managed to start watching again with Trask's death scene. There's a word for that kind of timing.

Re: Nolan in peril - I think it's them doing a very good job at making me like the character enough that I don't want to see anything bad happen to him.
