I still don't like matches getting interrupted but I deal with it better when it's bad guys doing it.
I like what they're doing with Sting. Or rather, while shouting at them to stop being mean to Sting, I think it's very clever. Because yes, there's a reason why Sting is the poster boy for Stupid Good. He's always going to believe the best in people. That is why he is beloved. It's a wonderful seam to mine.
And it lead to a not bad Austin Aries vs Sting match. Which was better than expected.
Also good were the Knockouts match and the Morgan / Park confrontation. I still don't know how they make someone that big look so unthreatening.
And the whole section where Bad Influence convincingly make me want to punch them in the face (said with love and appreciation), Storm comes out for the rescue and then AJ Styles's return. For values of good that should include me telling him not to hit Storm.
Of course the end segment then ruins it all. Not Bully Ray who was his "charming" self, or any of the Aces & Eights, but in 9/10ths of the things Hogan said. He's just now declaring war. Not when Aces & Eights attacked the company in general, or Angle, Magnus or Joe in particular, or when they held Joseph Park hostage and tortured him, or when they put THE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION on the shelf for a month. ... I'm finding it hard to disagree with Tazz's claims of nepotism. Also, Hogan basically said "everyone rumble". Not counting the various bad guys, where was everyone else that wasn't Magnus, Joe, EY, Storm, Robbie T(?!), Hernandez, Chavo, Joseph Park, Hardy and Angle? Aces and Eights look suitably strong yes, but it does suggest a distinct lack on the part of TNA. I never thought I'd say this but where's Gunnar? Where are any of the X-Divisioners?

Date: 2013-03-22 02:56 pm (UTC)I've always been a little sad that I've been missing out on Bad Influence's amazingness. I love Daniels always (brand new information!) and all the bits I've seen of them off YouTube have been gold.
I have to admit, there's a part of me that's a little resentful that AJ and Daniels never got this kind of a tag run. :( I wouldn't want to break Bad Influence up, but the thought of AJ and Daniels as a heel tag team is blowing my mind. They were a face team when they were together, because AJ = always face, but Daniels always functioned better as a heel. I'm just kinda running my mouth at this point, because, uh, you know me. I can't shut up about my wrestling OTP. Sorry. ^^;;

Date: 2013-03-22 04:18 pm (UTC)Bad Influence are pretty much perfect because they're gleefully obnoxious heels which is something I like, but they can still get me to boo them. Their promo at the start of the first Manchester Impact was perfect. I mean, full on, local knowledge, every audience member in the palm of their evil hands perfect. (It's the one of them in kilts and woad) So I'm very excited for them vs Roode n Aries.
You should always feel free to squeak at length on here.

Date: 2013-03-25 11:37 am (UTC)Wow, I definitely do not want AJ to be Sting, not least because that means I won't get my AJ heel turn.
Bad Influence vs. Dirty Heels promises to be entertaining on all counts, good talkers + ring awesomeness. Urgh. I guess I'll be watching some TNA after all. >.< Daniels v. Aries. FUCK.
With that said, lol, heel tag team vs. heel tag team. That should be interesting.
