So after seeing lots and lots of adverts for this in the usual places I thought I'd give it a go.

And I love it.

Madly.

Partly it's that the controls are straight-forward and even I haven't managed to shoot myself in the foot.

Partly it's the lovingly, rendered scenery and the music.

But mostly it's the characters.

The two characters that I play are a Jedi Consular (Sage) called Emm-Lya and an Imperial Agent (Sniper-class) called Fuhrdahl. It's such an easy game to get lost in because it lets you give your characters as much depth as you want. To me, that's the fun of it, to try to play it as though I really am a naive, knowledge-obsessed Jedi or a ruthless, mission-orientated Zabrak who is working for the Empire because it's best option. Fuhrdahl somehow has a tonne of lightside points, not because he's in anyway good, but because those are the options that produce the fewest bodies and that makes his life easier and I think that's what he'd be like.

Another thing that amuses me is how different I feel about the Sith depending on who I'm playing. If I'm playing Emm-Lya, they're a dangerous threat, yes, but dealable with. As Fuhrdahl, I agree with Keeper, avoid them and try to keep out of whatever they're plotting because they are dangerous. To everyone. Nothing spreads fear in an Imperial agent quite like the Sith.
