Every university has their own way of doing things, I think my program is somewhat unusual. Some University Honors programs just have students writing a thesis, some programs have full curricula (mine has a 2-year sequence that last all of freshman and sophomore year). Students not in the Honors college at my school still do the basic math-science-english-social science-language general educations requirements (which vary if you're getting a B.A. or a B.S.) as well as the University Studies program which is an interdisciplinary curriculum.
