Why do I recognise evil American woman?
Oh Rhys, you're lovely.
And Danny is the nice guy who dies, isn't he? There is no way he's getting out of this alive. (I was pleasingly surprised, for the time being.)
Ah the joys of human cruelty and wonder.
Wayne Knight = the least agenty looking agent ever. Deffo evil, mind.
The psycho has a point. Actually, I'm interested in what they're doing with Danes. Because well, he's out and out bad (raping and killing children puts you in that category rather easily) but they keep giving him scenes where he's not the least sympathetic person there. The reactions of other people to him are also interesting, and I like how there's one person who's all, 'nope, no one is allowed to have sympathy for him', and internally I was all 'no, you don't get to tell people who they're allowed to have sympathy for'.
Also what did either PR people, Americans or American PR people do to Rusty, because he seems to hate all of the above. And of course Mephistopheles is going to be a PR person.
The science in this varied, from 'chelation doesn't work like that' and 'what do you mean, antibiotic resistant bacteria *will* get everywhere, they're already everywhere' all the way through to, 'wahey, they've not screwed up the telomere stuff'.
The scene on the plane reminded me of nothing more that a really messed up version of Apollo 13.
I <3 Rex and Esther. That means they're both doomed, doesn't it.
Also, bad CGI remains bad.
Other than that, RL is doing some mostly good things, I met up with a bunch of people in Leicester at the weekend. The only downside is that I came down with a stomach bug which meant I missed half of Monday, and when I did turn up (direct quote from colleague V) 'I thought, oh hell, she's died and no one told her'. Apparently I was zombie green.
