Housemate has realised he has made a huge error and has apologised. I have mostly forgiven him, so revenge will be dialed down from prawns in radiator to loud nu-metal for the next couple of days.
Krod Mandoon has finished over here. This makes me :( I'm aware it's mostly bawdy jokes in faux-epic setting but damn if it isn't good, and one line in particular last night caused much amusement.
Torchwood was good.
I thought that Doctor was far too nice to be Owen's replacement ;)
I do wonder who the goons in black belong to, they're not UNIT or Torchwood, I don't think, and unless the government has an anti-Torchwood team, I can't think who else it would be.
Ianto Jones's background is exactly what I thought it was. And, oh that scene was deeply amusing for all the wrong reasons. (My own background is not a million miles removed from his.)
Well, we now know that 1) Jack can reproduce and 2) the immortality thing is not passed on. We'll find out if he can survive being exploded.
The thing with the children was just the right kind of creepy, and the various non-Torchwood actors brought it with a vengence, most particularly Peter Capaldi, Paul Copley and Susan Brown.
I can see what John Barrowman means with this not being the best way of showing it, because it's an awful lot of time to set aside, and almost no-one is in all 5 nights this week.
I do think the serial format suits it better though.
