Dear Slaven Bilic,
as long as we both understand that I will never forgive you, organising the Croatian team that knocked England out is almost worthy of it.
Um, yes, quite happy with that result.
Other than that, I've discovered that the way for me to enjoy Heroes is only to watch the Alternative Universe episodes where Peter is different. Because 5 Years Later (or whatever it's actually called) was great fun. Also either Masi Oka or someone on the production team know their stuff. See I have nothing against ninja-ness in the right place.
Because yes, apparently the way to make me like Peter Petrelli is to make him meaner. I dread to think what that says about me.
It's the fact that what breaks Hiro isn't the chaos and the however many people die in the explosion, it's Ando dying. And the way Hiro from the Future just perks up, just a little on seeing him, and I'm sorry but I think upset Hiro is kryptonite to me the same way seeing John Terry upset is.
Of course, and this is the thing that makes me worry, if it came down the world or Ando, I think Hiro would try to save Ando and I know Ando would tell him not to, and Hiro is heroic enough not to (see also why the end of 'Small World' is the most heroic thing Jack ever did with Torchwood) and when Krige and Company finally do that scene (and don't think they won't) it will hurt.
I still don't get why, given they have a guy who can change the future, they don't save Issac from his horrible fate (and yes I choose Issac as my example because he's my favourite character who isn't Hiro). Okay, I get that they can't stop Sylar before he starts because of the paradox that would create. But unless what finally gets them to be able to stop the explosion is intimately tied up with Sylar having Issac's powers then surely they could save him. Or at the very least kill him quickly. Of course part of me gets goosebumps at the idea of Issac the pre-cog drawing his own death and knowing it was going to happen, and I'm sorry but that's just horrid.
