Sports again

Saw most of England v Ecuador. I'd like to say that if England can only beat the might of Ecuador by 1 goal they're going to be slaughtered by the Portugese.
Saw the second hald of Portugal v Netherlands, which looked more like foulball than football, but given that they are two of my least favourite international teams precisely because they're both filled to the gills with cheats and divers, this was to be expected. I felt sorry for the referee.
Lossi will be killing me any time soon for this.
Not looking forward to Italy v Australia because Australia are exactly the kind of team that Italy lose to and because the Australian defenders are vicious little blighters (said with a lot of liking).

In the tennis I shall of course be cheering for the usual suspects (Ancic, Ferrero, Grosjean and Roddick). I shall also be hoping that Bogdanovich beats Nadal, which I know probably won't happen but a girl can hope can't she. This is mostly because I like Bogdanovich and because the LTA are idiots.

Will find out about viva today. Am also starting to suspect that will never get PhD.

Doctor Who wasn't too bad last night, the alien was suitably alien and the ideas were interesting. Didn't much like the ending or the way the dialogue was written.
Next week's trailer looked cool and not just because Tracy Ann Ooberman is in it.
