A few sporting notes

Dear Lizzie, you're insane, Joe Cole is not cute. Although according to Hansen, Linaker and Lawrenson he was Chelsea's best player.
Good luck to Man City. I know they're not one of my teams but they employ my favourite striker ever, Robbie Fowler, and are now managed by my favourite player ever, Stuart Pearce. Such love for them.
Wales got the grand slam. Well done them. Though I'm noticing an anti-Ireland bias in the press. When they lost their first chance of a grand slam since 1949, it was 'oh well' when Wales win it it's all 'oh how good for them, will do wonders for Welsh rugby'. Bah.
Wales did out-play Ireland though, although the Irish picked themselves up late on in the game after David Humphreys came on possibly this is a sign that Eddie O'Sullivan ought to play Humphreys more often or train up one of the kiddies to play like him because, although O'Gara is the better kicker, Humphreys is by far the better rugby man.
Scotland v England was far better than expected, great game of fun rugby. Chris Patterson for the Lions, because he was brilliant. He always is. Much love for him.
I don't like to jump on the bandwagon or kick a man when he's down but Charlie Hodgson needs not to be England's kicker for he is useless. Use Goode of Leicester. He's brilliant. He's also the top points scorer in the Zurich premiership for the last two years. It might therefore be a good idea to play him for more than ten minutes a match.
Hope Christophe Dominici is all right, and I'm quite worried about Aurelian Rougerie because he didn't play again this week. One of the French players, Laharrague, is incredibly good.
The Italians did well. They played really good, passing rugby in fits and starts for at least forty minutes this week. They are getting better. And should be better when the Bergemascos are back. (Who are Ma and Mi, for Mauro and Mirco, so I call them major and minor).
Love the six nations. Expect pic spam later. Probably featuring lots of Dennis Hickie who is my sporting crush du jour. Or the baby French. And possibly quite a few of Wales, France and England too.
