Web site question and update

The web site question first, which do you lot think looks better on an index of fics page - fics in plain list downwards or in a table? I don't like the layout of the page at the moment but I can think of no other way of changing it that doesn't involve tables.

Until I've sorted that out there's an update to the site - update page to be found here - http://redfiona.tripod.com/id7.html There's the usual request of 'if you find any broken links or other screwed up html, could you please tell me'. One of these days I will reach competance.
