Lots of the praise goes to the usual suspects.
James Storm continues to be an exceptionally good heel. He isn't going for cool or fun. He is going for guy people hate. And is succeeding. The only downside is that I want someone to punch him in the face, right now. (I told you he was good.) Luckily, Mahabli Shira (spelling so wrong) is here to do just that. I'm not sure I like what they're doing with him, but he's made a connection with the crowd (they joined in with the dancing) and lead to Manik getting a character bit for the first time in ages. It's amazing how much more I'm interested in the Revolution when they're given something to do.
EC3's look of frustrated disapproval is a thing of beauty. As was James Storm look of plain old disapproval.
Everything else is pretty meh. I mean, the obvious thing that is going to happen is still obvious, and the only people who are seeing it are still the bad guys, and there seems to be a serious (and unintentional, I wouldn't mind it if it were deliberate) disconnect between the story the announcers are trying to tell (EC3 is a jerk, but he's our jerk so we should be cheering for him over GFW's dude), and the story the audience are in (EC3 is a jerk, while PJ Black is flippy-flippy fun, we're on team flippy-flippy fun).
