Two tidbits from David Coulthard's column (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/formula_one/8065053.stm)

"In 1996, my helmet was steaming up and so I asked Michael Schumacher if I could borrow one of his for the race.

So I ended up finishing second at Monaco in Schumacher's helmet, the same one he wore to third place in Brazil."

Because much though they seemed to spend most of their careers at each other's throats, you always got the distinct feeling they could at least stand each other, which is more than could be said for Coulthard and Irvine.

>>In 2006, I finished third here which was Red Bull's first-ever podium finish and I asked Prince Albert if he minded if I wore a superman cape to celebrate.

He said "of course not", so I am also the only driver in F1 history to wear a Superman cape on the podium in Monte Carlo.<<

I'm still mildly disturbed seeing Prince Albert hand out the prizes in Monaco, I keep thinking he should be practising for the bobsleigh season and that it should be Prince Rainier presenting the trophies, but I do think this shows why, despite my dislike of monarchies, I'm still fond of Prince Albert.
