The Eleventh Hour
Mar. 20th, 2009 12:42 pmSo, I'm minding my own business watching Criminal Minds on Virgin when a trailer comes on for something starring Rufus Sewell. And, okay, so they've got him doing an American accent, but I can live with that. It looks a bit like Fringe/Regensis/the one with Neal McDonough, so I'm not that intrigued but the name rings bells so I look it up. It turns out that it's a remake of a thing from UK tv that had Patrick Stewart in the Rufus Sewell role, that I think clashed with something else I'd rather have watched (strongly suspect it was Dr. Who).
But, and this is where the real amusement comes in, Sewell's character is a biophysicist. Which is, theoretically, what I am. Remind me that watching things just to see how badly they screw stuff up is wrong.
