From the fencing: Martina Emmanuel went out in the first round but given that she was up against it anyway, this is not surprising. Good on her for making it to the Olympics. It means the sabreurs at our club have to shut up for a while.
Got to see Vezzali win the gold though. Given that this is her 3rd in a row and one of 6. She's ever so slightly incredible.
