And I'm very happy about that. Admittedly it was a lousy performance, but he didn't fall and it's the only time I've ever been able to watch Plushenko without having fits and kittens that he's going to fall. It was wierd, it was like he knew he didn't have to push it to win, so he didn't. So he wasn't going to do anything ridiculous. It was like the coronation of a king.

To all his opponents various - seriously, the guy does make mistakes, you just have to push him. Being able to land your own jumps might help in that regard.

The medal table makes for fun reading - USA, Russia, Germany - big powerhouse countries, followed by Austria and Estonia - tiny little countries. This makes me very happy also.

really love, is how my housemate's shopping akes precidence over mine. Basically the landlord wants to do something to the house (which means I have to tidy up, blast) and wants to come at 10.30 tomorrow. My housemate says I have to stay to let him in, because she needs to shop, ignoring the fact that I too, need to do some shopping. Her's is food, mines for a practical on Thursday. And I need to post a letter for me, and some for Amnesty. The post office shuts at 12.30, so if he's not there by 11.30, I'm going out. It's not like I'll be that far away till later so he can ring.

Bah!

The Vice-captain wants the girls to wear chest protectors like good little girls - I hate wearing them. I'd love to know how he plans to check that I'm wearing mine.
