Am not dead due to coke AKA I really need a new alarm clock

Laserquest was fun, fun, fun. 2 hours of shooting the fencing club. Was quite possibly the worst player there until I figured out some tactics, which took till the last game.

Would be deader except my concience, in the body of Laura, made me go home straight away instead of via pub.

I'm now a firm believer in luck - I've told you all how the alarm not going off meant I missed the foil part of the last fencing competition I was in, right. Well last night I'd set that alarm and suddenly remembered that and set the other two.

Guess which alarm didn't go off this morning. Actually I was that worried I naturally woke myself up on time but thought it was 12pm because that's what that alarm showed. Freaked, looked at the others, saw it was 9 and was mightily relieved. See Red's streak of luck continue, and see her learn her lessons. Anyway, important appointment at 10 went well and, as long as the people who give grant/scholarshipy things for research give me a grant/scholarship thingy, I have a research job for this summer.

I'm writing this high on cola awaiting test that I'm supposed to be revising for. Supposed to be being the operative phrase.
