I'm dealing with Italy going out a lot better than expected. At least I'm not claiming conspiracy like the head of the Italian FA is. Even if it was a conspiracy, they wouldn't have had the chance had Italy played up to even half their talent.
One good thing to come of this though, Trappatoni is gone. No offense to the man himself who I think is a sweet, dear, gentle, kind man, but he's the worst Italy manager since Zacharoni. Yes, that bad.
And Marcello Lippi is taking over. Maybe he can get a decent tournament performance out of Del Piero.
Other than that, there was no play at Wimbledon so we got to see old finals instead, always good. Discovered something else, I've inherited my Mum's tendency to cheer for the bad boy or the underdog in any sporting equation.
The break is also good for Goran who's shoulder is playing up. Things that worry me - every logical part of me says he can't win. My heart however disagrees. It'll all end in tears, I know it.
Have found a lovely pic of Myskina that I intend to scan and post. Mainly to use the new scanner.
Other good things, Colin and Mum are off on a 3 day vacation-let. Which means Colin will not be hogging the TV when TNA is on for 4 hours straight on Friday. Yes!
