Also since the Wright Brothers belong to America and that makes them (and by some extension You) special, I'd like to say that the jet engine was invented by an Englishman and the car engine by Germans. So dial the nationalism down a little.

Other than that I want to scalp David Blunkett (Home secretary). He's trying to stop muslim women wearing their shawls on passport/driving licence photos. Which strikes me as a little stupid since mostly they'll be wearing them while flying/driving so what does it matter.

And two, if you're going to be stopping them wearing what they want isn't that breaking various traditional liberties like oh, you know, freedom of religious expression.

On other news, my old school's new head (who insists on being called a Principal) is an idiot. Read this gem of idiot-speak - "Our management team has been replaced by a leadership group."

He went on for about half an hour in nothing but double-speak, newspeak and jargon. I hate him so much.
