Having caught up with the RAW views I have but one thing to say - would the various people declaiming that La Resistance ought to be sacked please grow up. Guess what, they made a mistake. A big mistake, but these things happen in what is a pretty dangerous sport.

For instance a lot of the loudest declaimers are huge Benoit fans who got his 'crippler' moniker from, oh yeah, breaking Sabu's neck. Which also comes under big old mistakes.

In short, accidents happen.

No one saw me promise not to talk about politics right? Good, then I can still get away with it.

The BNP (British National Party - or the bloody racists as Mum calls them) have decided to put up a candidate in my home town at the next local elections. Excuse me while I'm glad that I'm still voting here so I can vote against them.

But yes, then their spokesman comes up with this corker. Apparently there are areas of St. Helens where whites are afraid to go because of them nasty coloured folk.

This is an especially stupid thing to say due to the lack of any major groups of any ethnic minority in this town. Or as Chris's Mum put it, St. Helens is just about the only large-ish town where you can still live all your life without meeting someone who isn't white and Catholic. (She said it as a criticism. Chris's Mum is almost as cool as Chris himself.)

Or to state blunt facts, this is a town of about 70,000 people, and a grand total of 3,333 were born outside the EU.

Plus the only real idiots making people afraid to go anywhere are white, which I know because I went to school with several of them.

But yes, the wankers are coming. Of course if I get the chance to needle them, I will. What can I say, it's my civic duty.
