Even though I'm not a member, the Contrelemontre challenge at the moment is making me think of Giles/Ethan. But hey, what's new. One of these days I will gather up the courage to write them.
Discussing ancient crumblies I'm not supposed to have a thing for, my Mum and the women she works with (who are, in the main, about 7-17 years older than me) were talking about men they found attractive, and Mum was finding it really funny because they were mentioning all these bright young things, like Justin Timberlake and David Beckham, whereas I tend to be all about the more mature gent.
Still talking about crinklies, Sir Ian McKellen is apparently doing a version of the Merchant of Venice with Al Pacino. Which should be interesting. Pacino is playing Shylock and McKellen is Antonio.
I wonder what they're going to do with the text. But I bet you it will sound wonderful.
Re: The Merchant of Venice - I think I must have read it all wrong, because everyone else sees Antonio as being quite a bit older than Bassanio et al, but when I read it I thought he was about their age, but acted far older. One of these young but wise (or thinks he's wise) types.
And I've finally added a bit more to the site. Not much, an extended version of the Matrix review that is the previous post and a fic up in the fic part, 'Hush Your Mouth'. Sit address is
