University woes, and football.
Apr. 25th, 2003 12:05 amI feel like I'm going to burst out weeping any second. I have to decide which Uni I'm going to. Which would be all right if I was the decisive sort, which I'm not, if I knew which one I wanted to go to, which I don't, and if I didn't have this feeling that which ever one I choose will be wrong and that I will have screwed up the rest of my life.
( University blatherings )
on to less weep worthy news (unless you are a Boavista fan) Celtic won, which they deserved. Boavista meanwhile win the Slaven Billic award for cheats who thankfully didn't prosper.
Now, I've no problem with a little cheating, but when it's every single time your team get the ball... How easily did they go down in the tackle. And they were vicious to various Celtic players.
Let's not mention the fact that they seemed to think they were playing basketball.
Loved that they weren't given a legitamate penalty due to their playacting previously.
Oh and before anyone complains about wwe commentators all I wish to say is be thankful you don't have to put up with Barry Davies. No Barry, the defender won't have the same ball-control skills as Henrik Larsson, because he is a defender and because very, very few people have the ball control skills of Larsson. Actually, Barry did appear to be on the Celtic defenders' cases throughout. Stupid man.
Some of the snooker commentators are diabolical as well.
Oh, and Gary, don't try and pass this match off as being in the same league as Man U v Real. Now I know a little about football, but that little is enough to know that despite hating both teams, that match was a classic.
Hee Juventus are through, woo hoo. Boo hoo, they have to face Real Madrid in the next round. It'll be a good match, but I fear I am going to hate the outcome.
