I was going to make a resolutely insensible post about the VMAs but I accidentally caught the BBC2 showing of a play called 'Copenhagen' by Michael Frayn, I think.

I didn't think I would watch it because I thought Ad would still be round but he wasn't. And I meant to watch the +1 hours reshowing of the VMAs but I accidentally turned to the wrong channel and it enthralled me.

It was about nuclear physics and everything. Or rather it used nuclear physics as a symbol or metaphor for everything. It was brilliant, incredibly brilliant.

And so cold and corrosive, made me want to grab everything I hold dear and never let go again. (Probably not something to watch when you're not feeling too good)

It was a deep, intelligent thoughtful play, and the production was brilliantly acted. I'd recommend it to everyone and anyone, as long as they don't object to mind-frelling and nothing but moral shades of grey.
