Fic writing survey

1. State your name, and any/all pennames you've used: Red Fiona, always gone by it online.

2. How long have you been writing?
Fanfic, um about 2 1/2 years, I think.

3. How did you get into writing?
Looking for Blake's 7 episode reviews, which lead B7 fan-fic, and then Fanfiction.net, hence to Bliss's site, hence to Christina's site hence to WWFSML.

4. What genres/fandoms do you write in?
Wrestling, Lord of the Rings, a couple of others have had the odd fic half written for them.

5. Which one do you prefer most (if any)?

Quantity, wrestling, quality, probably LOTR

6. Which one do prefer least (if any)?
None really.

7. Is there a fandom you've wanted to write in, but never have?
X-men. One day I will get my act together and write it. Oh and Buffy, more particularly Giles/Ethan, but this would require me to hunt down transcripts because I want to do Ethan justice.

8. Is there something you're writing now that you once said you never would?

Not really. I mean, I occasionally get flashes of stuff, but most of the time I convince myself out of it.

9. If someone were to ask you, what type of writer would you say you were?

I'm a potterer. I potter about doing bits and pieces.

10. How many stories have you written?
This would involve counting, I'll have to get back to you. (Not that I'm not concerned with my fic but I've lost large chunks of them during a move between computers.)

11. Are they evenly distributed throughout all genres, or does one dominate?

Quite a few odd pairings, but mainly they float on the light side of angst.

12. Is that your favorite genre?

Ooh, difficult question. It's probably the one that's most common, and the one I'm most comfortable writing, but sometimes I like to do something a little different.

13. What's your favorite story?
Without a shadow of a doubt 'The Annoying Things You Do'.

14. What's your least favorite story (don't lie, everyone has one)?
A couple of the Test/Regal series make me shudder. Some retroactive changes may be needed.

15. Do you have a muse?

Oh for a muse of fire type thing. I don't know, I have urges. And then strange voices in my head.

16. Do you have a favorite?
Not to write for but I have an utterly unnerving urge to mother my Noble muse. And do various less moral things to my Val muse.

17. Do you have a muse you don't want?
The one that gives me Benoit bunnies at 1 o'clock in the morning.

18. How'd you wind up with them?
They appear. I ask no questions, they tell me many lies.

19. Any muse you absolutely, positively don't want?
No

20. Do you consider yourself a good writer?

I think I'm decent, most of my sentances are full and there is only a limited amount of grammar mistakes.
