What you're missing there is that all three were filmed in Australia! A huge part of the Australian film industry got a big kick-start with the Matrix trilogy, including various CGI studios. Ghost Rider was particularly hilarious to me because they filmed parts of it on the Geelong Road (the way I get to Melbourne) and it's such a boring road, not where you would expect flaming headed Nic Cage at all.
