Does anyone think there's anything wrong with asking, quite politely, for people to stop going on and on about you have to have seen x, y and z indie fed to truly appreciate wrestling?

It just strikes me as stupidity. I've never seen Luis Figo play in La Liga but from his international performances, which aren't his best, I know he's an A* player.

Oh yeah, La liga = Spanish football (soccer) league.

What. Ever. You can appreciate wrestling just because you ENJOY IT. It shouldn't be a who knows more competition.

I second your whatever. It irks me. If you don't like the WWE style don't watch. To continue the football metaphor, I can't stand Dutch style football so I don't watch their league.

I don't. It gets irritating at times, and I have seen a lot of the stuff they're going on about. I don't like the elitist attitude of "you haven't seen this, so your opinion is not as valid as ours".

So long as it's not just me. >>and I have seen a lot of the stuff they're going on about.<< And you're nice about it. You say that this is good, and other people might like it, you're not like a lot of people who say you have to have seen this stuff to have an opinion on anything.
