Does anyone think there's anything wrong with asking, quite politely, for people to stop going on and on about you have to have seen x, y and z indie fed to truly appreciate wrestling?

It just strikes me as stupidity. I've never seen Luis Figo play in La Liga but from his international performances, which aren't his best, I know he's an A* player.

Oh yeah, La liga = Spanish football (soccer) league.

That really pisses me off too.

I hate the whole "I'm the smarter/better fan because I've watched wrestling since shortly after the second coming, and because I've seen the REAL thing in midget feds all over Mexico!!!"

What. Ever. You can appreciate wrestling just because you ENJOY IT. It shouldn't be a who knows more competition.

I don't. It gets irritating at times, and I have seen a lot of the stuff they're going on about. I don't like the elitist attitude of "you haven't seen this, so your opinion is not as valid as ours".
