Solomon Kane

Is better than it has any right to be. I mean, I'm still not sure I'd say it was good, but it's watchable at the very least, and having Pete Postlethwaite (and Alice Krige) always helps. Ditto James Purefoy, who does one of the best 'terrified by something' faces you'll ever see, especially since he was acting against CGI in that bit.

Just a drive-by commenting to say I loved this film and I still don't know why because you're right, it's not good. I suspect James Purefoy helps. He's more or less the only reason I've watched the Following, at least!
