X-Men prequels (First Class/Days Of Future Past)
Runner-up + Honorable mention(s): I am all about Mystique/any number of people. I think it's partly how Jennifer Lawrence plays her, because she starts off so wanting of affection and grows into this complex, dangerous woman (I am one of those people who calls the films 'Mystique: Origins parts 1 and 2'). And partly it's just, she's so pretty.
So yeah, I am all in favour of Mystique/Hank, Mystique/Magneto (which is hot like burning and awkward in a completely different way to Mystique/Charles), Mystique/Angel (see also, hot like burning) and Mystique/Azazel.
Basically, give me Mystique fic and I'm happy.
Crack pairing(s): There are those who would say that Mystique/Angel or Azazel are crack pairings. They are wrong. I think you could make a reasonable case for most of the pairings for this 'verse.
Ship everyone else seems to like, but I don't: Alex/Darwin, nothing against it, I just don't see it. Ditto Emma Frost/Shaw. That I see more as her playing along with him because it's easier than dealing with him being pissed off at her. Now that's a dynamic and a story I want to read about. Written by someone who isn't me because I just can't write Frosty, possible because, with the exception of when she was housemother for Gen X, I don't like the character.

I think it is Jennifer Lawrence. She gets Raven I think. And yes, she's beautiful.

I never saw the fuss about Alex/Darwin. Can't help wondering if it's progressivism rather than shipping at times. Oh goodness, no to Emma/Shaw. Secret? I didn't dislike Emma either...

The Alex/Darwin thing did seem a lot like 'pair the spares' and get cookies for slashing the non-white character. Neither of these things appeal.
With Film-verse Frosty, it's one of those things where I'm never sure if I'm missing things because I just don't dig the character, or if they're actually not there.
