Meme Reply
I've added them all individually, my responses to the the unpopular opinion meme.

Unfortunately TNA based, as it's the only one I have access to. That being said, it's not an unpopular opinion but why is John Morrison not champion of all he surveys?
1 - Spoilers for Turning Point- I know that it means I'll have to hand in my x-division fan card, but damn it, I enjoyed Crimson v Matt Morgan. I know they are everything I should object to in wrestling, but ... it was fun!
2 - I hate the weight limits on the X-division. What happened to 'it's about no limits, not weight limits'. Dear idiots in charge, this is the division that brought us Styles and Daniels. And Kazarian. And Eric Young. Why are you depriving us of no limits flippy-flippy-ness?
3 - This one will be really unpopular but Shannon Moore is not bad in Ink Inc. It sort of works. (This opinion is brought to you on behalf of the Toxxin for eternal president campaign, membership 1, brought about by seeing her in action once. I love Toxxin.)

Not a fandom I spend a lot of time in online so have no idea whether or not these are out of step.
1 - Data is my favourite. I don't care what anyone says. He's adorable.
(I think my icon may give that away somewhat.)
2 - Someone, possibly Marina Sirtis herself, did say that the presence of a counsellor would be the thing that dated TNG. I look at it the other way, the other ships have counsellors, they're just not on screen that often, if ever (honourable exceptions are Voyager, which you know went through a major incident and the counsellor may not have survived and Enterprise's Enterprise, which is before this.)
3 - I appear to be the only person who didn't hate Dr. Pulaski. I was still pleased to have Dr. Crusher back, but she's not totally poisonous.

1 - I totally understand why people might not like him, but Owen the infinitely slappable is my favourite. I know this makes me a terrible person.
2 - I tried with Miracle Day, I really did, but Torchwood lost something in the translation. I think it was stretching it to 10 episodes. It didn't have the immediacy of the series and it didn't maintain the tension of Children of Earth. Also, the sense of humour went mostly missing, and Torchwood's sense of humour was always vital.
3 - Dear Janto fans. Stop it. I know plenty of reasonable Jack/Ianto fans, much like I know sensible Rose/Doctor 'shippers, Wincesters who don't froth at the mouth etc. Notice I draw a distinction between these fans and the Janto fans. It's a sci-fi show, not a romance show, any relationshippy stuff should be in the background. Before anyone says anything, you'll notice I was even less appreciative of 'shippery business on the mothership.

1 - Of the various boyfriends we see on screen in the TV show, Riley is by so far the best, it's ridiculous.
2 - Spike is my favourite. I know this makes me a terrible person and a worse woman according to many, many people (for people, read idiots). I don't care. He's funny, he looks like he'd be a blast to hang around with (provided, you know, you had vampire bite repellent on).
3 - I can't read the comics. I hate the art style. Yes, I'm probably missing out on stuff, but did I mention the terrible, terrible art.
Oddly enough, Buffy is the one where I have the most (numerically) unpopular opinions. I'm having difficulty coming up with 3 for the others, but this one I had to stop at three.

I think part of the problem is that they were trying for McCoy Mark II without getting why McCoy mark I worked. I imagine it's at least partly chemistry between the actors and the other part is that McCoy was teasing someone of similar rank to him, Spock could snark back without it being a disciplinary offence. Pulaski meanwhile was ragging on a junior officer, who was unlikely to be able to defend himself. It's like 'pick on someone your own size'.
