Just like the apologise for the loud shrieking
Sean Bean website is to blame. I think I just remembered why I can't ever say I'm a lesbian.
Teensy bit of background - basically, in the early 90s, if a Brit TV show wanted to invoke sex they used Sean Bean. The first things I saw him in (or clips of, dude, I so wasn't old enough for them) were Lady Chatterly's Lover as Mellors and Clarissa as Lovelace.
It's still an accepted thing Marks and Spencers used him in their Christmas ad, saying, "Strange men baring gifts". My German teacher, who knows about the squeaking, alerted me. There's something worrying there :)
So basically, everyone else grew up and got different people to squeak over (Leonardo Di Caprio and Orlando Bloom) but I never did.
This worries me somewhat. Not enough to stop me, but still.
