If Zhang and Zhang had actually landed that quad they should have won. I don't think they would have done, but they should have. As it is I'm perfectly happy with their position. Mother isn't. Her point, and it is well made, was that the Russians were lacking a certain something on the artistic side.

The russians seemed so passionless to me, until the end. But I guess coming back from the accident will make them tentative.

The Zhangs were on fire, and I would love to see how things went if they had landed that quad

Oh yeah, normally, I'm totally cheering the Russians on but this time seriously, they were lacking their usual spark. But like Fileg says, that could easily be down to being a bit freaked by injuries.
