Meme response - 5 things that never happened to Sylvain

1 - He's still getting over the 'flu, and must not have been as well as he thought. His vision wobbled like jello in an earthquake. He decided to spend the rest of the day in bed so he was fully fit for the next competition.

When he went to it, Eric, who was a friend even while he was the one guy he knew he could never beat, said that Pat Patterson had been at the last one, scouting for talent for the WWE.

Sylvain could have kicked himself for not going, but he had to think that there would be other opportunities.

2 - So he finally met the guy he was supposed to be in a team with. The kid was ridiculously young. He thought they'd been okay but higher powers decided that they just didn't gel well. It was probably for the best, goodness knows whether he could have got on with the kid if had to travel with him every day.

3 - It was one heck of a let down. A week before they're due to start filming stuff for their introductory promo Cornette gets a call saying that the gimmick's been nixed. They're to stay in OVW until creative come up with something else. It hits Rene harder than it hits him, and while he's trying to cheer him up later, Rene explains that the reason he's so annoyed about it is because he thinks this really could have worked out.

4 - Thankfully they didn't split them up in the draft. It had been a close run thing, but they'd decided Rene wasn't quite ready to go it alone. Give him another year they'd said. Sylvain was not going to complain about that, even if Rene did.

5 - He'd never thanked God, and all the other deities, quite as much as he did after that match. Half an inch further along, and he would have been looking at a long injury lay off.
