Why the heck haven't they got exasperated as a mood?

I ask only as that is probably the best word for how I feel. Those who know what I'm on about will know, and those who don't, don't worry, it's nothing important.

Let's just say someone has been moralising and according to her, if indirectly, my cousins and I should be in care since we've been left on our own. Because as you all know leaving kids on their own is a terrible crime.

Sorry, but leaving us on our own never did anything terrible to us.
