NCIS: New Orleans

I was bored on Monday so I gave this ago. It was the fifth episode so I presumed they'd have ironed out the worst of the kinks by then.

Plus points - CCH Pounder as Loretta Wade. Her and Pride (Scott Bakula's character)'s relationship. They are snarky friends in the best possible way.

Negative points - I'm reasonably sure I've seen most of the character bits done before on the mothership, particularly the bits with Not-DiNozzo and Not-Kate. Actually, she's more like Not-Ziva but with more of Kate's personality.

Not-Abby is a man and just doesn't work.

Episode-specific plus points - Fornell. Fornell is always a plus point.

Funny moment, that's very Red-specific - I just couldn't place Not-DiNozzo. He looked vaguely familiar but just not placeable. And then he said something and I went "I know those vowels", and sure enough, Not-DiNozzo is played by Lucas Black. When did Caleb Temple get old enough to play NCIS agents?

Long story short, it's passable enough but feels a lot like NCIS:Original Flavour reheated.

Star Wars: The Old Republic

If there's one thing that SW:TOR does well is it conveys the reason why Luke says "If there's a bright center to the universe, you're on the planet that it's farthest from." about Tatooine. It's a playable planet, and because I level up two characters at a time, I have two of them on Tatooine now and ... well I'm just waiting for them to get lost. One already has. I have spent too much time on that blasted planet. And I'm very bad at reading maps.
