Hahah I can see how that would be annoying. As a Southern California resident, I have the kind of opposite issue where I clearly recognize that the rolling hills of Kentucky/Texas/France/Turkey are very clearly an hour's drive up the road from me.

Hopefully the portrayal of your hometown surprises you in the final film. I generally dislike biopics as a genre because of how roughly they handle the truth... :/
